BRUSSELS, October 01, 2014 - Digital Economy Ministers and representatives of ministries, the UfM Secretariat, telecoms regulators, development banks and EU institutions yesterday pledged closer cooperation to reap the benefits of the digital economy for Euro-Mediterranean citizens, consumers and businesses.
BRUSSELS , June 05, 2014 - The EPP Group in the European Parliament yesterday elected Manfred Weber MEP (CSU/Germany) as its new Chairman. He succeeds Joseph Daul (UMP/France), who did not stand in the European elections. Weber was elected by 190 votes out of 192, making the EPP the first political group to constitute itself following the May 23 - 25 European elections.
BRUSSELS, October 04, 2014 - Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle met the Turkish Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ in Brussels yesterday, shortly after the release of Turkey's new strategy for EU accession. Commissioner Füle expressed his full appreciation for this working document, in which reforms in the area of fundamental freedom and rule of law received a prominent place.
BRUSSELS, October 07, 2014 - "We condemn the attack of a suicide bomber on the City Day celebrations in Grozny. There can be no justification for such an attack against innocent lives.
